Building Bark Canoes Like his Grandfather-in-Law

In case you missed it on the CBS Evening News last night, we’ve posted video of their story about Big Fork, Minnesota birch-bark canoe builder Ray Bozel.
Bozel’s passion for canoe-building began years ago as an apprentice to his Grandfather-in-law. Bozel’s mentor, Bill Hafeman, was himself featured by CBS News. Some 26 years ago, Charles Kuralt spotlighted Hafeman in one of his On the Road stories.
