Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Day

In 2010, the Wisconsin State Legislature proclaimed the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend “Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Day.” This year, the Wisconsin Canoe Heritage Museum is marking the occasion with a weekend of celebration. The Canoe and Wooden Boat Show will display canoes of all shapes, sizes and designs this Saturday, May 26. The Porch Dogs will play live acoustic music on Saturday, and the Museum will unveil its 2012 exhibit highlighting the life of J. Henry Rushton.
