A 950-Mile Anniversary Celebration

The Flint Journal in Michigan reports HERE that Chris and Joann Adolf celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a 950-mile Mississippi River paddle.
The Flushing, Michigan couple celebrated their anniversary today, but took the trip last summer.
“You can’t paddle in February,” Chris Adolf told the Journal.
Paddling has been a big part of the pair’s life: One of the Flushing, Michigan couple’s first dates was a paddle on Michigan’s AuSable River; Chris Adolf has done a number of extended trips, including a 2,040 mile paddle down the Yukon River with his son.
